An 84-year-old Philadelphia man is recovering after he was savagely attacked by a gang of young punks during one of his regular nature walks earlier this week.
Jim Shea, a former Temple University administrator, told the Philadelphia Daily News that he was taking a five-mile hike through the city's sprawling Fairmont Park on Monday when a crew of four hellraisers jumped him for sport.
The punks even attacked him from behind.
"I felt a real something to the head, a real blow to the head from behind," he told the newspaper. "It knocked me to the ground; that was the biggie."
