Two brothers were arrested Sunday night for allegedly attempting to burglarize an apartment before being shot by the resident.

It happened at the Reflections Apartments, off Winkler Avenue and Solomon Boulevard, just after 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

Police say the male resident of the apartment stepped outside to smoke a cigarette with he was attacked by 27-year-old Ashanti Underwood and 28-year-old Jamar Underwood.
