A teacher who had sex with two of her students and after plying them with drink and drugs has been jailed for two years.

Sarah Rutherford took a plea deal to avoid a lengthier sentence and agreed never to teach in a classroom again.

The 23-year-old had pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor battery and two counts of misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
