James Sorensen was leaving the yearly “Pridefest” celebration in Colorado Springs held at Acacia Park. Police noticed Sorensen had his 40-caliber handgun holstered, on his hip, when he was leaving the park. This gave cause to police to approach Sorensen. After fifteen minutes of being delayed the police decided to take Sorensen to jail.
