A former Highlands High School teacher avoided trial by admitting on Tuesday to having sex with a former student.Andrea Conners, 34, of Cleves showed little emotions in Campbell Circuit Court when she changed her plea to guilty on one count of first-degree sexual abuse. The move means she will be required to register as a sex offender.
