The principal of a Kissimmee elementary school who was arrested last week on multiple drug charges has resigned.
David Groover phoned in his resignation as principal of Partin Settlement Elementary today to the Osceola County schools' human-resources director, according to the district. His resignation is effective Tuesday.
Groover, 43, was arrested late Friday at his St. Cloud home. He was accused of providing methamphetamine and GHB, better known as the date-rape drug, to an undercover officer.
